The Hollywood Broadwalk is transformed into an Outdoor Craft Haven for the 3rd Annual Seaside Craft Festival on Hollywood Beach

Craft lovers are anxiously awaiting another great beach event as the 3rd Annual Seaside Craft Festival on Hollywood Beach comes back to town. The annual event is set for Saturday, May 2nd & Sunday May 3rd, 2009 from 10am to 5pm each day. Admission is free of charge.

Over 100 fine crafters will be on hand with everything from hand-made jewelry, unique clothing, paintings, scented candles, plants, pottery and flowers fresh from the garden. The scenic show takes place on the Broadwalk between Johnson & Tyler Streets directly along the ocean.

“We are thrilled to be hosting this event once again. The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is the perfect venue for an American Craft Endeavor event and it gives us the opportunity to showcase the latest enhancements and improvements occurring on Hollywood Beach from the newly renovated Broadwalk to a completely re-imagined Charnow Park and new parking garage.” said Judy Erickson, director of Tourism for the City of Hollywood.

This event has become more than just a Craft festival; it’s a two-day craft celebration with some of the finest handcrafted goods created by local and national producers. Prices range from as low as a few dollars! There will certainly be something for everyone and every budget at this show.

The Garden and Gourmet Marketplace, a popular section, will be back as part of this show, giving patrons the opportunity to purchase gorgeous orchids and sample exotic dips and sauces. This event will also showcase live music.

Directions: Take I-95 North or I-95 South to Hollywood Blvd. go east over the intracoastal to A1A, go north on A1A pass signal lights and make right on Johnson Street to show site.
