City of Hollywood Officially Launches Pay-by-Phone Parking Service
Parkmobile Application Simplifies Parking on Hollywood Beach

HOLLYWOOD, FL – Parking on Hollywood Beach just became as easy as a push of a cell phone button! The City of Hollywood has launched a pay-by-phone service called Parkmobile that allows beach-area visitors to use their cell phone to pay for parking at City-owned lots and garages.

Customers can download the Parkmobile app on their smart phones (iPhone, Android, Windows 7, or Blackberry); register online or call a toll-free number to set up their account. The website is www.parkmobile.com and the toll free number is 1-877-727-5714. After setting up their account, customers can immediately start using the system with their registered mobile phone. They can also select the option to receive text message alerts and reminders. Registered customers who use the system within the next 30 days will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a free iPad from Parkmobile.

The City of Hollywood and Parkmobile USA will hold a ceremony to formally launch the service on Monday, April 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Johnson Street parking lot behind the Maurice Connell Parking Garage, Johnson Street and A1A on Hollywood beach. Individual demonstrations of the system will be available for media members.
