- Ring in the New Year with beauty and grace at OceanDance 2008 on Hollywood Beach.

The 10th annual cultural event, which is produced by the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, features performances by a leading dance company on a seaside stage beneath the stars December 30th & 31st.

Hollywood’s award-winning Blue Wave beaches and oceanfront pedestrian Broadwalk, the only one of its kind in all of Florida, provide the perfect backdrop for this breathtaking cultural program, which will be presented at 8 p.m. Tues., Dec. 30th and 9:30 p.m. Wed., Dec. 31st. The New Year’s Eve performance will feature a spectacular fireworks display at midnight.

There is no charge for general admission to OceanDance 2008. VIP packages are available, which include reserved parking, complimentary cocktails from an open bar, table seating on a beachside deck, and New Year’s Eve party favors and a glass of champagne at midnight to welcome 2009.

OceanDance is one of several cultural events offered free of charge in Hollywood, including heritage festivals, concerts, the monthly ArtWalk series, live entertainment in the stunning 10-acre ArtsPark at Young Circle, and Music & Dancing Under the Stars at the outdoor Hollywood Beach Theater.
