Hollywood Beach Welcome Center
The Welcome Center offers visitors the convenience of personalized information services, centralized hotel and motel booking, tour and transportation services, event information, area maps and much more.

The Welcome Center is staffed by a trained visitor specialist equipped with phone, a lap top, a dedicated email address and promotional print materials and maps to help you enjoy and discover the best of Hollywood, Florida.

Driving Directions

From Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport
• Start off heading southwest on Terminal Drive toward U.S. Route 1 South
• Merge onto North Federal Highway/U.S. 1 South toward Dania Beach/Hollywood
• After less than a mile, turn a slight right onto Griffin Road/State Route 818 West
• Merge via the left-hand ramp onto Interstate 95 South toward Miami. Follow for five miles
• Take Exit 20 for Hollywood Boulevard/State Route 820
• Proceed east 2 miles to Historic Downtown Hollywood
• Proceed east 3.5 miles to Ocean Boulevard (Route A1A)
• Travel time is approximately 15 minutes.

From Miami International Airport
• From the airport, follow signs and proceed south on NW 42nd Avenue/North Le Jeune Road. This becomes State Route 953 South. Follow towards NW 14th Street for less than a mile
• Merge onto State Route 836 East toward Interstate 95 and downtown Miami (portions of this may be a toll road)
• Merge onto I-95 North, a left exit, going toward Fort Lauderdale. Continue on I-95 for about 16 miles
• Take Exit 20 for Hollywood Boulevard/State Route 820
• Proceed east 2 miles to Historic Downtown Hollywood
• Proceed east 3.5 miles to Ocean Boulevard (Route A1A)
• Travel time is approximately 30 minutes

From North
• Take Interstate 95 South to Exit 20
• Turn left onto Hollywood Boulevard (east)
• Proceed east 2 miles to Historic Downtown Hollywood
• Proceed east 3.5 miles to Ocean Boulevard (Route A1A)

From West
• Take Interstate 75 East to Interstate 595 East
• Then proceed to Interstate 95 South to Exit 20
• Turn left onto Hollywood Boulevard (east)
• Proceed east 2 miles to Historic Downtown Hollywood
• Proceed east 3.5 miles to Ocean Boulevard (Route A1A)

From South
• Take Interstate 95 North to Exit 20
• Turn right onto Hollywood Boulevard (east)
• Proceed east 2 miles to Historic Downtown Hollywood
• Proceed east 3.5 miles to Ocean Boulevard (Route A1A)

By Air
Hollywood, Florida is ideally located between two major international airports. The Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is just a short 10 minute drive, and the Miami International Airport is located just 30 minutes South.

Taxis, Private Car/Limo, and SuperShuttle services are available outside terminal baggage claim areas throughout the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

By Land
Hollywood is a popular driving destination which is easily accessible from several major Interstates and highways such as I-95, I-75 and Florida’s Turnpike.

By Sea
Port Everglades, the world’s premier cruise port is located just 10 minutes away serves nearly 20 cruise lines.

By Train
Climb aboard at a Tri-Rail Station to reach all parts of South Florida or to connect with an Amtrak rail for more distant destinations. Tri-Rail also offers shuttles with service to the Fort Lauderdale/ Hollywood International Airport Tri-Rail station with regular pick-ups throughout the day.
