He reminds us of the importance of our commitment to conservation by rendering images that are faithful to reality, while bombarding us with the joyful energy coming from his masterful use of color and texture. He challenges us to see nature from a different angle, and in doing so, to gain a new appreciation for the great gifts that have been entrused to us.
